Chappell Studio Glass artist, Jon Chappell’s work is prized by owners and collectors. Both for the unusually fine form and the finish of his pieces. Jon uses flame-working techniques in a controlled and critically timed process to create art pieces noted by critics for their fine detail. His fifteen-year career in glass has spanned many facets of the industry. From his initial apprenticeship under Kemp Curtis, he has taught the craft and worked in supervisory positions for Rex Cravat’s studio in Bisbee. Originality, variety, and perfection have characterized his work in both individual pieces and scenes. He uses many variations of the fuming process in both pure silver and gold on borosilicate glass. At present Chappell produces his Glass artwork in Hereford, Arizona.
